' IN pursuance of "The Regulations of Elections Act, 1831, " I, Joiin Thomas Tvlsb, Beturning <Officer for the Electoral District of Napier, do hereby /give notice that by virtue of a writ bearing 1 date the ninth day of November, 1881. under the hand of the •Clerk of the Writs, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as member for the said electoral district; And that the nomination ■of Candidates will take place in the old Provincial Council Chamber, Napier, at noon, on the first day of December, 1881; and that the poll, if necessary, -will be taken at the polling place of tbe said dia-. trict, on the ninth day of December, 1881.
