PICTON.

November 14,

Mr Eyes, a candidate for here, addressed a large meeting of Picton electors on Saturday evening, and received an almost unanimous vote of confidence.

The Clarendon Hotel was burned to the ground last night. The cause is supposed to be a defective chimney. The House is said to be insured for £1200, the furniture for £300, and the billiard table for £100. A good deal of furniture was saved, but not the billiard table.
