WELLINGTON.
November 10. The whole of tbe writs were issued last night, dated Thursday, the 101b, they are returnable by the 19th of December. Friday the 9th of December, is fixed for the general polling day. The Hinemoa arrived from Opunake this morning, with the Hon. Mr Rolleston, the Hon. Major Bailiie, and volunteer F. Peters, of the Carterton Rifles, who injured his hip joint during some gpmes in the camp. A comrade accompanied the latter. Major Bailiie was invalided by Dr. Diver through suffering from a slight attack of bronchitis, and was ordered to return home. Peters was taken to the hospital here. A supplement to the Gazette notifies the issue of the writs, appoints polling places, and calle Parliament together for the 22nd December. It is not, however, called for the despatch of business.
