Nominations for Handicap Hurdles, and Pakowhai Handicap to be Bent in by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, 6th December, accompanied by a fee' of 1 soy for each nomination. Weights to appear on or before 9 p;m. on Wednesday, 14th December. Acceptance without fee by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, 20th December. Nomination jf or Maiden Plate, Christmas Stakes, Trotting Race, and Novel Race, by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, 20th December, with fee of 1 soy for each nomination. Weight for Christmas Stakes to appea>- on the course after the Pakowhai Handicap is decided. Half forfeits (of 1 soy) to be declared and paid by 12 noon on the day of the race for the following events or the nominator will be liable for the .whole sweepstakes, viz. : Maiden Plate, Pakowhai Handicap, and Handicap Hurdles. Ali sweeps to be paid at scale and to be for starters only. Maiden shall mean a horse that has not won an advertised race at time of entry, Steeplechase, Hurdle, Hack races and matches excepted. Hack shall mean a horse that has never started in a weight for age hapdicap race.
