NELSON.
October 28. At a parade of volunteers last night about 130 town men were present, including the Naval Brigade. The men were examined by Dr Boor, seventeen being rejected. It is expected that, with the country corps, at least 150 men will leave for Opunake to-night by the Hinemoa.
