CHRISTCHURCH.
October 22. Mr W. H. Pilliet, a candidate for Stanmore, Mr John Anderson for South Christchurch, Mr H. W. Perryman for Lincoln, Mr J. H. Lee and Mr Isaac Wilson for Eaiapoi, each addressed the electors last night, and all received votes of thanks. Owing to the action of the Industrial Association in censuring the committee for sending a favorable reply to Messrs Joubert and Twopenny, the majority of the committee have resigned and formed themselves into a separate committee for the purpose of obtaining a thoroughly good display of New Zealand products at the Exhibition. Those who resigned include the President and Vice-President.
