.'Recter's Special to Telegraph.] LONDON. October 17. The head quarters of the Irish National Land League have been removed to Liverpool, and since 4 .he arrest of Mr Dillon on the 14th instant, Mr Arthur O'Connor, M.P. for Queen's County for whose arrest a warrant has been issued, and who has escaped to England, has assumed the direction of the affairs of the League. The measures adopted by the Government for the suppression of disorder in Ireland are being carried out with unabated vigour, A further large number of warrants have been issued by the Irish Executive for the arrest of " suspects," and many of the local leaders of the Land League have already been taken into custody in the proclaimed districts. Telegrams to band from Ireland state that the riots which recently occurred at Limerick between the police and tbe people were renewed to- day, when further serious disturbances took place. Mr Parnell's name has been removed from the Commission of the Peace in Ireland. It is now announced that, in view of the necessity for further reinforcements in Ireland, three regiments will be despstched from England to the disturbed districts without delay. Much excitement, continues to prevail in Ireland over the action of the Executive in making so many arrests of prominent agitators. Public feeliDg has manifested itself strongly in Dublin, and tumultuous gatherings of the people have taken place to denounce the Government. A deputation from the Dublin Corporation waited to-day upon the Chief Secretary for Ireland to complain that the Constabulary had been guilty of great brutality in the suppression of the recent riots. Mr Foster, in reply, stated that be could only justify the action of the police. ______-,
