WELLINGTON.
September 2. Hares are proclaimed not to be game within the district of Hawke's Bay. The Kumera and Woodville highway districts are constituted a part of the County of Waipawa. Mr H. P. Williams has been appointed Deputy-Registrar of Births etc., for the district of Wairoa. Murray, Roberts and Co.'s bond, Napier, has been gazetted as a bonded warehouse. The following intercolonial weather exchange has been received :—Sydney, Thursday evening. The depression is deepening and extending in Western Australia, with moderate N.W. winds ; in Eastern Australia light S.W. winds and fine weather. The barometer at Albany is 298, and at Portland 30 2.
