An mist. 26— Go-Ahead, s.s,, i'jr Lyttelton direct.
'Hie Union Company's s.s. Rotorua, Capt. Tozer, arrived in tho roadstead about 1.30 this afternoon. The following is the report of her passage: —Left Port Chalmers at 3.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 2.th August, arriving in Lyttleton at 9.30 a.vi. onThursday ; sailed' again at 5.30 p.m., arriving in Wellinaton at 9.30 a.m. on Friday ; sailed again at 5.30 p.m., arriving as above. Had southerly and easterly winds to Lyttelton, and from thence to Wellington strong S.W. winds with heavy sea, and from thence to arrival fresh southerly wind. She brings about 20 tons of cargo and 2 horses for here, which will be lightered by the s.s. Sir Donald. Her advertised time of departure is 4 o'clock this afternoon for Northern ports. The s.s., Maori, Capt. H. Anderson, arrived from Wairoa shortly after one o'clock yesterday afternoon, bringing two passengers and a small cargo. The steamer Go-Ahead, Capt. P. Doile, left, for Lyttelton direct shortly after 4 o'clock last evening. The Union Company's s.s. Arawata, which left Auckland yesterday at 3 o'clock, will arrive here afc daylight to-morrow morning. She brings 100 tons of general cargo for here, which will be lightered by the ketches Admiral and Three Brothers. The time the launch Hoivjum w annoiinced to leave the wharf with the outward Melbourne and coastal passengers by this boat is 10 a.m. Tbe steamer Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, leaves Wellington at 5 o'clock to-night, and may be looked for here on Alonclay morning early. By advertisement she is to sail for Gisborne at 4 o'clock on Monday afternoon.

Tho Merchant Shipping and Underwriter's Association report the arrival of the ships Guy Mnanering from Lyttelton (sailed May 20). and Mataura from the same port (left May 28). Melbourne, August 26. Arrived, this afternoon, Union Company's steamship Te Anau from the Bluff.
