TIMARU.
August 20. F. W. Munn and Edwin Edwards, two young men, who have been until lately employed as steward and barman at the Ship Hotel, were charged at the Magistrate's Court to-day with stealing about £40 in cash from the hotel, the property of Dan McGuiness, the proprietor. Tbey were arrested by Detective Kirby, and remanded on the application of the police. Bail was fixed at £120 each, and two sureties of £75 each.
