NEW PLYMOUTH.
August 10. A ivhare at Rahotu, occupied by one Oorbettand family, was burned down at 5.45 yesterday morning. No one was burnt, but nothing was saved. The loss is £60, and the origin of the fire is unknown.
Last night tbe wreck of the Samson got off the south spit, and drifted on to the north beach, She is now lying across the channel, blocking the entrance to the Waitara river.
