Anderson, sailed for Wairnn at midnight last night, with a full carsro and some passengers. The steamer Oreti, Capt. Campbell, is expeote<l to arrive here from Auckland, on M'ondny next. The steamer Fairy, Capt. Campbell, left for last night with stoves. The brignntine Linda Weber, Capt. Georpe Veil, flailed forWhangaroain ballast at 9 o'clock this morning. The Union Tompany's s.s. "Rotomabana, Capt. Undevwood, lea Yes Gisbsrno this evening, and will arrive here at daylight tomorrow, sailing for Southern ports and Melbourne at 11 a.m. The eteamer ICiwi, Capt. Jas. Campbell, steamed for Gisborne at 10 o'clock last night, taking a email cargo and twentythree passengers. She returns on Sunday morning, and will leave the same afternoon for Wellington. The s.s. Sir Donald, J. Quinlan master, steamed for Blackhead at 8 o'clock last night, with a full load of station stores and timber. The Union Company's s.e. Te Anau, Capt. Carey, is to leave Wellington at 6 o'clock to-night, and may he lookfd for at about noon to-morrow. She brings about 75 tons of cargo for this port. The soundings taken on the bar this morning by the pilot showed a considerable improvement, and there is now a good ten feet of water at high tide, and a better ohannel. The three-masted schooner Silver Cloud, Captain Charles Balle, will not get away for Newcastle, N.S.W., before 3 o'clock tomorrow. The schooner Elizabeth Conway has ballasted, and will get away for Wellington during the afternoon. (By Cable) Sydney, August 8. Sailed, last evening, steamship Wakatipu for Wellington.
