AUCKLAND.
July 22. A child, two and a half jears old, the daughter of one Keating, residing at Con's Creek, has been drowned in a pool of water while playing. The police are enforcing the Female Employment Act, and another conviction for the detention of a girl beyond tbe hours was obtained in the Police Court to-day.
