July 11. The Daily Times this morning issued the largeet sheet in the colony. It contains 3G columns of 2C| inches each. At the civil sittings of the Supreme Court to-day the case of Seaborn v. the Bruce Standard, in wbicL £500 damages are claimed for an alleged libel was heard, and the jury awarded £25 damages.
A meeting of the Dunedin clergy is convened to consider the beet means of securing the passage of tbe bill for the suppression of gaming. At the City Police Court to-day Eliza Wbitten was committed for trial for attempted burglary.
