CHRISTCHURCH.
July 8. A girl named M'Kenna, nine years of age, residing at Sandridge, while sitting before the fire on Wednesday night, fell asleep, and woke to find her clothes in flames. She was severely burnt before the fire was extinguished, and died at the hospital yesterday morning.
