July 6. William Davis, an old military settler, was found dead yesterday, and at the inquest the verdict of the jury was " death by the visitation of God." Teira Waiotenirau, a leading disputant in the recent Opoho case, is at the point of death, the presumed cause being witchcraft. There will be a .row over this.
