WELLINGTON.
June 17. A c<*ble received here states tbat the steamer Bowenleft Foochow for Wellington on the 15th instant. She brings a cargo of the first season's tea. The City of Sydney, with the London mails of tbe 19th instant, left 'Frisco for Auckland on Saturday, the 4th instant, her time-table date, and she should reach Auckland on Sunday, the 26th. The Southein mails will be brought on to Wellington direct from Onehunga. The Australia, with the May colonial mails, arrived at 'Frisco on tbe 14th, two days in advance of her due date. At an open-air meeting of the unemployed this morning it was decided to petition the Minister of Public Works for work.
