ASHBURTON.

June 10

At the Licensing Court to-d'jy there wa> no quorum of Coamrnsion-irs, and consequently the Court was adjourned to Tuesday next. The B.M. notified that there were no objections to the applications for renewal, and fll would be granted. In re R. Little's application to have hia name placed on tbe list of applications for the Hindopa Hotel, he having neglected to give the proper notice in time, it was adjourned to the same date. It is thought that the police will oppose this because the applicant was recently in Court over & " lambinijj-dc-wu ' case which was spoken of by the bench in very strong terms at. the time.
