At tbe wool anction to-day 11,800 bales were offered, making a total of 63,500 bales catalogued since the opening. More demand was experienced at a slight improvement in prices generally.

The Right Hon. W. E. Gladstone is again suffering from indisposition, and has been ordered by his physician to take rest from his duties in Parliament.
