At the Nebo rush there is a population of three hundred, which is inreasing. All men working are getting gold. Several nuggets have been found.

Mr Gresley Dukin has submitted to the Government a railway project to connect Brisbane, Sydney, and Adelaide. The chief feature is the land grant system, the line being constructed by private capitalists. A successful banquet was given at Cooktown to the Governor on Friday.
