DEPARTURES.

May 12— Go-Ahead, s.s., for Wellington via the coast. 12 —Maori, s.s., for Porangahau.

The s.s. G-o-Ahend steamed for Wellington shortly after 5 o'clock la«t night, taking a full load of wool and tallow. She was taken charze of by her chief officer, Mr Hart, Captain Dicker being appointed assessor on the collision enquiry.

The steamer Maori, Ctipt. Anderson, left for Porangahau at 8.30 p.m. yesterday, taking a cargo of 13,000 feet of sawn timber.

A ketch arrived in the harbour last night, and was being brought inside as our report left the Spifc. We were unable to ascertain her name.

The cutter Clara, Capt. D. Ferney, returned from Mohaka at an early hour this morning with a full load of wool. She reports having been blocked in the river by the shallowness of the bar for the last eleven days.

The Union Company's s.s. Hotomahana, Captain Undei'wood, leaves Gisborne tonight, and will arrive here by daylight tomorrow morning. She brings 37 tons of cargo for here, and will take 76 bales of •wool and 80 caeks of tallow away. The advertised time for the launch to leave the wharf is 11 a.m.

The 8.9. Result, Captain W. E. Baxter, steams for Wairoa at 10 o'clock to-night, taking a good cargo. The s.s. Bella brought another load of tallow from Clive last night, which she transhipped to the s.s. Go-Ahead. The s.s. Sir Donald's boiler was hoisted out of her yesterday for repair?, and the vessel herself was shortly afterward? taken over to the Western Spit, and placed on Nprthe's patent slip for a eimiiar purpose.
