OAMARU.

May 13. Two stacks have been burnt on Mr Teschemaker's Taipo Hill estate. A considerable distance separated the two stacks. The fire is put down to incendiarism.

The programme issued by the local Steeplechase Club comprises a maiden steeplechase of 40 soys, handicap steeplechase of 100 soys, selling stakes of 40 soys, and consolation of 30 soys. The entries tor the first and third, and the nominations for the handicap close on the 28th instant.
