While three men were engaged to-day on the premises of Mr Hatch, chemist, working a hoist for lifting goods, a case while suspended, suddenly decended, coming to the ground with such violence as to detach the chain, which fell on two of the men, Hunt and Sargeant. They were removed to the hospital, where it was found that Hunt had his leg broken badly, it being splintered and the other man was much bruised and shaken.
