The ftefiuier 'Kiwi,'Oii.plain Cai'npbell, left for Wellington at 3 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, taking 64 casks of tallow and 100 sacks of maize, besides general cargo. The s.B. Fairy, Captain Campbell, was taken off the slip on Saturday, after receiving a thorough overhaul. She is to be laid on the Wairoa trade during the winter months, and will make her first trip as soon AS the bar at Wairoa is crossable. The b.s. Go-Ahead, Captain Dicker, was expeoted to have arrived here this morning, but had not done so up to the time our report left the Spit, the coast work probably having detained her. The Company s.s. Boojum was take ll on the slip this morning to be overhauled.
The three-masted schooner Mary Wadl e y, Captain Balle, arrived at the anchorngeafc 5 o'clock on Saturday, and was brought inside and moored at the breastwork at about noon yesterday. She reports having left Newcastle, N\S W., on the 13th instant with a light W. wind ; experienced fresh W.S. winds from the day after leaving until entering the Cook Straits on the 19th, where ihe had light variable winds until rounding Cape Palliser on the 21st at midnight thence had E. winds along the coast, rounding Cape Kidnappers on Saturday morning at 8 o'clock. She brings a full cargo of coal and hardwood, consigned to her owner, Mr J. H. Vautier.
The Union Company's s.s, Tararua, Capt. Garrard, arrived in the roadstead at 4.30 a.m. on Sunday from Sydney and Northern ports. She discharged her cargo, some f0 tons, into the lighters, and left for Southern ports, Hobart, and Melbourne at 2.30 p.m. We were unable to procure a report of this vessel's passage.
The U. S.S. Co's Te Anau, which left here on Saturday evening, arrived at Gisborne at 6 a.m. yesturday, and at Auckland at ten o'clock this morning.
