April 16. The latest bulletin issued reports that the Earl of Beaconsfield continues to progress favorably towards recovery. The intimation of the Hellenic Government of its acceptance under certain conditions of the Porte's proposal for the extension of the Greek frontier ia considered by the Powers to be ambiguous, and it is feared that the settlement of the Turco- Greek difficulty may be still further delayed.
