A telegram has been received from Algiers announcing that the ten thousand troops dispatched from France in view of the difficulty iv Tunis have been landed at Bona, a seaport on the Algerian coast near the Tunisian frontier.
April 9. Diplomatic correspondence continues between the French and Italian Governments on the Tunisian question, and it has transpired that tbe French Government has in its last communication disavowed any intention to annex Tunis, but firmly insists that French influence shall preponderate in the. principality.
