Consols remain at par. The New Zealand five per cent 10.40 loan is quoted at 102|, and the five per cent 1889 loan at 106, ex-dividend. Australian tallow has advanced 6d per cwt., and the quotations to-day are—Best beef, 33/6 ; best mutton, 36/6. Australian and New Zealand breadstuffs are without quotable change.
