I—Amaranth, schooner, for Greyrnouth. The Unirm Company's ?.s "Rotorua, Onpt. J. To.'or, I'Uives Gisborne to-night, and will arrive here at day light, next morning, sailing for Southern ports and Melbourne at 11 o'clock. She brings 40 tons of cargo for this port. The s.s. Result is to leave for Wairoa at 9 o'clock to-night, Captain Baxter having received a telegram from the Wairoa pilot stating that the bar is smooth. The steamer Kiwi, Captain Campbell, left for Poverty Bay at 3.30 p.m. yesterday, taking several passengers, 31 piles for the new bridge contract, 6 tanks, a pure-bred bull from Mr Heslop, and about 10 tons general cargo, besides about 30 tons original cargo. It is improbable that she will call hero on her way back to Wellington. The Bchooner Amaranth, Captain Colin Campbell, sailed for Greymouth in ballast this morning. The 5.3. Sir Donald, Capt. Quinlan, Bteama for Blackhead and Waimarama tonight, with a full cargo of posts, grass seed, and stores. The ketch WiH Duck is still lying at the breastworis awaiting orders. " '~-«^ The Zealand Shipping Company's barque'Looh Fleet is now within about one hundred bales of being a full ship, and will probably get awOT for London early next week. * From a private telegram we learn that the steamer Go-Ahead, Captain F. M. Dicker, left Nelson at noon to-day, with the balance of the barque Electra's cargo, consisting of about 150 tons of railway iron. (bt cable.) Sydney, March 31. Arrived, Union Company's s.s. Wakatipu from Wellington. Sailed, Union Company's s.s. Eotomahana for Auckland, Adelaide, March 31. Arrived, Orient Company's steamship liuisitania from Plymouth.
