DISTRICT COURT.
Thursday, March 24. (Before His Honor Judge Kenny.) At the sitting of the Court this morning, Judge Kenny appointed Mr G. W. Cilllen deputy-clerk, to act for Mr Bircb, who is engaged upon the examination of law candidates. In the case Ruddock and Fryer v. Maney, there was no appearance of either party, and the case was struck out. MOHITARAPUri AND OTHERS V. W. L. BEEB. Mr Lascelles appeared for the plain* tiffs, and Mr Lee for defendant. Mr Lascelles applied to have the case treated as undefended. After hearing Mr Lee, and Mr Lascellei in reply, His Honor adjourned the case until Thursday, the 7th of April, to enable plaintiffs' solicitor to obtain the signatures of all the plaintiffs to the warrant. (1) Defendant to file a fresh defence on or before 4.30 on Monday, the 4th of April, stating the names of the plaintifja to whom the money in question was paid, and the name or names of the persons who appointed them to receive it. (2) The items of the legal charges and particulars of the professional services rendered. The Court then adjourned.
