Messrs Kennedy and GHUman furnish the following sharemarket report:—Banks— Colonial, 445; New Zealand, £23; National, 665. Insurance —Colonial, 11 s6d ; National, 28s 6d ; Union, 21s ; South British, 59s ; Napier Gas Company, £13 ; New Zealand Shipping Company, £4 17s 6d. Messrs H. Monteifch and Co. report:—At our weekly produce afc the Bazaar on Friday we disposed of a considerable quantity of stuff at fair prices, and quote as follows : — Oats, 2s 4d ; barley, 3s 3d ; maize, 3s 6d to 3s 9d ; wheat, 3s 6d to 4s, according to sample ; chick wheat, 3s 6d ; rye-grass seed, 4s ; bran, £4 10 per ton ; sharps, £5 10s ; potatoes, £3, nominal; onions, 1M per lb ; Canterbury bacon and hams, 9d find llcl per lb respectively. Our weekly salo at the Bazaar on Saturday was well-attended. Thirty-five horses of various descriptions were catalogued (including a lot of 15 light harness horses and feacks from Wairoa), the greater number of which were disposed of. Prices we quote as follows : —Heavy draughts, up to £45 ; medium, £22 to £35 ; light harness, £14 to £18; superior hacks, £1.4 to £20 ; station hacks, £7 to £10 ; weeds, nominal.
