SPORTING NOTES FROM DUNEDIN.

Duneein, March 12. At the Naseby races yesterday Sailor Boy won the three principal events. At the Tapanui races Tom King won the Handicap, and Nautilus the Ladies Purse.
The Dunedin Jockey Club, at last night's meeting, adopted this resolution —" It having been brought under tbe notice of the committee that the representative of the owner of ISTatator, entered iv the Forbnry Handicap, accepted for the said horse at 10 p.m. on Friday, the 25th February, and scratched the horse at 11.10 a.m" on Saturday the 26th ; that Natator was sent away by train to Chri'stchurch at 7.30 a.m. on the 26th, and the committee having repson to believe that arrangements were made with the Railway Department for the engagement of a box to convey the horse early on the evening of the 25th, this Club calls upon the Hon. W. Robinson, the owner of Natator, for an explanation of the matter."
