SYDNEY.
March 4. A cricket match between the Australian team and tbe combined eleven of New South Wales and Victoria was commenced here to-day. Tbe weather was fine. The combined team went first to tbe wickets, and when the innings closed were all out for 197 runs. Massie with 80, and Bannerman with 64, were the top scorers. The Australians then went in, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had scored 59 runs for the loss of one wicket.
