Christchubch, February 26. The Canterbury raeD completed their first innings for a grand total of 381. The first innings of the Otago men commenced disastrously, two wickets falling in as many overs. The innings closed for 77, which necessitated a " follow on." Their second innings comißenced in better form, and when the day's play concluded the score had reached 46 for 3 wickets. Morrison, b Frith 17 Millington, b Frith 1 W. Morrison, b Fdth 15 Leitb, b Frith 3 Home, not out ... 1 Extras ... 5 Total ... 77 OTAGO'S SECOND INNINGS. Crawshaw, c Hartland, b Frith ... 6 Hume, c Hartland, b Frith 1 Haskell, c Fowler, b Frith 4 Paramour, not out 28 Spring, not out 6 Extra ... 1 Total for 3 wickets ... 46 The match came to a sudden conclusion at 1.20 to-day. Spring and Paramour added 13 to the score, and then the former was bowled by Fuller. C. Frith . and Aehby made two wonderful singlehanded catches, which discharged Paramour and Collinson, and the last five men made only five rune. Paramour made 37, and Spring 15. C. Frith got Beven wickets for 25 runs, and Fuller three for ten.
