A man named Jones is supposed to have committed suicide in consequence of monetary difficulties. The bailiffs have been in his house since Friday. The body has not been recovered. At the City Court to-day Thompson, of the Racecourse Hotel, was fined £5 for permitting dice-throwing for drinks in his licensed house.
