AUCKLAND.

An old woman, a lunatic, bung hereelf last night at tbe Old Women's Refuge. Twelve other women were in the room at the time sleeping. She was first seen hanging from the bed, having torn up the sheets to make a rope.
The Masonic bodies entertain Brother George Graham, District Grand Mapter, at a banquet to-mcrrow on the occasion of his return to New Zealand from England. Arrived, Margaret Galbraith from London.
