January 18.

At the annual meeting of the Harbor Board yesterday it was reported that the gross receipts for the past year were £155,216, and the expenditure £92,414, which, including the balance from the previous year leaves a credit of £106,245, which will be reduced b> outstanding contracts, etc., £48,803. The quantity of mud dredged during the past year was 272,340 cubic yards. The number of vessels arrived was 1725, and the tonnage 342,605, against the previous year 1658 vessels and 829,175 tons. The departures were 1723 vessels and 337,643 tons, and for the previous year 1695 vessels and 338,044 tons. The v»orks contemplated by the Board for the current year include new sheds, two new breastworks, an extension of the three jetties, two new jetties, and a slip for vessels up to 300 tons.
