Mr Russell's Lincolna have for many years occupied a forward position at the principal Shows in Canterbury and Otago, and tins year, besides carrying off all the cups, were likewise successful in taking the trold medals for Champion Rams and Ewes at Timaru, Christchurch, and Dunedin, and having established their supremacy by successfully competing with sheep from every flock of any note in the Middle Island, are now admitted to be the premier flock of Llncolns in New Zealand. The Rams now offered for sale having been most carefully bred have acquired a fixity of type, and for length of staple, density, and fineness of fleece aro not to be surpassed.
