SERVICEMEN WELCOME END OF WAR

The gratification of the Disabled Servicemen’s Re-establishment League on the end of the war, was expressed at a recent meeting of the league, when the following motion was passed: "On the occasion of the surrender of the last remaining enemy, the league expresses its devout thankfulness to God for the cessation of hostilities. It records its heartfelt sympathy with all who have lost loved ones in the conflict, and witli those who have suffered disabilities through service. It re-af-lirins its determination to continue the work for which the league was formed — the welfare and-traising of disabled exservicemen —so that those who have become disabled in the light for freedom, shall b-' given new opportunities to reestablish themselves, and again take their rightful place in the community.”
