British Submarines Add To Far East Sinkings (Deceived July 6, 12.20 a.nt.i LONDON, July J. British subii>arine.s during recent patrols in Far Eastern walers sank nine supply ships and damaged two, states an Admiralty comni un iq ue. Submarines also successfully bombarded enemy shore installations at Lho Samawe. on the northern coast of Sumatra. from a position within 25 yards of the main breakwater. During this action a goods train was almost' completely destroyed. Considerable damage was also done to military oojectires on Koos Island, in the Andamans'.
