OBITUARY
Mrs. Martha Lydia Kane
The death occurred at her residence in .Wellington yesterday of Mrs. Martha Lydia Kane, in her ninety-second year. Mrs. Kane’s parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. T. Warburton, were married tn Wellington and wore among the very early pioneer settlers, her mother ai-riving in LS-10 and her father in 18-12. Iler eldest brother, James, was a former AuditorGeneral. Her husband, the late Mr. 11. W. Kane, who was a director of the Bank of New Zealand, predeceased her 20 years ago. Airs. Kano had one son, who was killed in the. last war nt Passchendaele in 1917. She is survived by two daughters, Aliases May and Amy Kane.
