Midwood will riile Peter's Choice iu the Parliamentary Handicap on the second day. _ Better eonditiom a prevailed this morning for training operations at Hawera, the tracks being improved, On the outside ol the course proper, the Trenthameugaged horses. Miss Corvette (Holland) Pekoe (Harris) galloped four furlongs tn jtll, the last three iu 41. Miss Corvette finished two lengths in front. Both horses are going to Trentham tor the second day s racing. Clutterbuck will ride Miss Corvette in the Trial Plate.
