Moderate, Lightfair and Kanui Te Pai Do.mi.nion Special Service. PALMERSTON N., July -J. Tlie jumpers again provided the chief interest at Awapttni this morning, nnd there were some excellent bouts. The tracks were holding aud cut up as the morning progressed. Sandy Cape and To Kawlti lost do time ill a bout over four hurdles, and both did their work well. Anglo-Irish and Monmouth also went over four fences. Fagan on Anglo-Irish lost an iron at the first jump, but continued without* it. The Champ, who continues to improve, Gold Bridge anti Young Charles took part iu a similar task. Young Charles tailed his companions throughout. An outstanding exhibition was given by Moderate, Lighttair, and Authoress over six hurdles. The pace was on all tin: way, and it was an excellent display, with Moderate aud Lightfair heading Authoress. ' Sporting Gold was accompanied by Pohnka over four fences, and both jumped nicely. Light Moments and Lady Midian shaped well for novices over three hurdles. A splendid school over the big country was witnessed when Kanui te Pai. Craeke.rjack and Ship Ahoy set out for a round. Kanui te Pai, Jumping much better than on Saturday, gave- a sterling exhibition, and continued on to do a strong round <H> tlie flat. Craekerjack gained many friends by liis display. The poles were about 10 feet out on the course proper, where Renascor was sent over a mile, winch he covered in 1.5 C, the last three furlongs in -13. Duncannon, a good track worker, left half a mile behind in 53 -1-5. Wings of Song galloped five furlongs in 1.8 1-5. Classfortn took 1.4-1 to run seven furlongs, coming home the lust three in -11 2-5. Golden Tide had- Kaitoa as a companion over seven furlongs in 1.37, the last three in -13. Sir Bradbury could have improved on the 1.8 4-5 he'took to run five furlongs. Kinsman and Alchemy ran a. mile in 1.55 without being knoclred about. Hakim, who has improved with recent racing, was alongside Aristocrat at the end of a mile run in 1.52 3-5, tlie last three furlongs in 43. Sovereign laid ran the last six furlongs of a mile iu 1.22 4-5.
