Dressing-rooin Thefts A further instance of players losing property from dressing-rooms occurred during the weekeiwl at Emerson Street Park. Players in a Rugby match returned to the sheds after the game mid a few immediately become aware that their money was missing. Other players on investigating their own pockets and wallets found that every penny had been filched; even tram tickets had been taken The thieves made a thorough job, systematically emptying every pocket. The individual losses ranged from a shilling or two up to £2. Every wallet was left with its owner, but minus its contents. This is not the first time that dressing shed thefts have been reported, from this area. Emersdn Street Park being uotori ous for the "frequent occurrence of pickpocketing. while caretakers at Wakefield have taken the precaution of nailing up warnings against piek-pockets. •
