Struggle For Hengyang CHUNGKING, June 26. Severe fighting continued throughout Sunday on the outskirts of Hengyang, iu Hunan, with the positions unchanged, says a Chinese communique. The Japanese have captured Yuhsien, 45 miles north-east of Hengyang, and Hengshau, 25 miles to the north-east. The . Chinese repulsed a Japanese column advancing toward Siangsiang, 60 'miles north of Hengyang. The Chinese driving down the Shweli River reached within five miles of Tengchung. Severe fighting is reported near Lungling, with heavy casualties, on both sides.
