Australia And New Zealand
The lack of news about Australia in New Zealand and about New Zealand in Australia was criticized by the Australian Federal Minister of Trade and Customs, Senator K. V. Keane, when replying to the welcome accorded inm at a State luncheon in his honour yesterday. Mr. Keane said there was not much Australian news in the New Zealand newspapers unless it was controversial. Similarly, one did not read in Australia much New Zealand news. It the Press did not give the news, he wanted to see that the agency of the air was used for that purpose.
