It was pointed out that the trust would, of course? be making liquor available in the restaurant. The temporary premises at the corner of Kelvin and Esk Streets will be known as the Kelvin, the temporary premises at the corner of Clyde and Eye Streets as the Clyde, and the premises in Biggar Street as the Appleby. The Kelvin is situated on the site of the old Clarendon Hotel. Appleby was the name of the hotel in Biggar Street before no-licence was carried. A suggestion was made at the meeting that the trust should instal radio sets in the bars. This matter was left to the secretary-manager to investigate. The question of beer prices was again discussed, but no finality was reached.
