LOSS OF U.S. BOMBERS
(Received June 25, 9 p.m.) LONDON. June 24. Moscow radio stated that German planes raided a Russian aerodrome used by Allied shuttle bombers, several of which were destroyed. [The Germans claimed the destruction of 30 bombers when they raided Polotsk, in White Russia, 60 miles north-west of Vitebsk.]
