GENERAL EISENHOWER
Second Visit To Normandy
(British Official Wireless.) (Received June 25, 8.30 p.m.) RUGBY, June 24. The Supreme Allied Commander, General Eisenhower, returned after a second tour of the American beach-head positions in France, where he conferred with General Bradley, commander of the Americans, and others. Philip Reed, chief of the American mission for economic affairs, arrived at the American beach-head today in connexion with shipping matters and the planning of food supplies for French refugees.
