SUNDERLAND CRASHES
Crew Of 10 Killed
LONDON, June ItL The bodies of 10 airmen, six of whom, were New Zealanders, who were killeii when a Sunderland crashed' an the island of St. Kilda, (Scotland, were buried at sea from an Admiralty trawler. The (Sunderland was discovered at the* summit of a 7800-foot hill with the JOi victims scattered round the wreckage. NEW ZEALAND VICTIMS The New Zealanders who were killed in the Sunderland crash were:— Warrant Officer Cecil Charles Osborne, Ashburton: Flying Officer Richard. Dillicar Ferguson. Tauranga; Flying Officer William Alexander Thompson. Christchurch; Warrant Officer John Raymond Llovd. Wellington; Sergeant Francis Matthew Robertson. Takaka; Sergeant David John Ohubbin Roulston, New Plymouth. Flight Sergeant Oliver George Reed, Avenel, Victoria, Australia, an Australian serving with the R.NJZ.A.F., was also killed.
