JOHNSONVILLE TOWN BOARD
Mr. R. G. Stephen was re-elected chairman of the Johnsonville Town Board at a special meeting of the newly-elected commissioners. The following committees were elected: Finance committee, Messrs. R. G. Stephen, K. S. Gandy and R. X’. Whitchurch; parks and reserves committee, Messrs. R. W. Sharman. R. P. Whitchurch and A. F. McBride; library committee, Messrs. C. 1. Spearpoint, R. P. Whitchurch aud A. F. Mcßride; representative Wellington Free Ambulance, Mr. R. G. Stephen: district representative, Wellington Provincial Patriotic Committee, Mr. A. F. Mcßride. As it was considered necessary and advisable that every membqr of the board should be fully ’acquainted with every aspect of the board’s activities and responsibilities in regard to public works, it was decided that the full personnel of the board carry out the duties of the works committee. It was further resolved that a separate night each mouth be set aside to deal with the public works of the township.
